Ainsley Hamill, an acclaimed vocalist and songwriter, performs in Gaelic, Scots, and English. Her debut solo album, "Not Just Ship Land," was selected as the Guardian's Album of the Month.
Joining her is Seonaid Aitken, a world-renowned violinist, vocalist, composer, and BBC broadcaster. She's one of Scotland's top jazz players, session musicians, arrangers, and musical mentors.
Special guest Annie Catriona NicDhòmhnaill, a recent recipient of the Mod Gold Medal, is currently honing her skills in Gaelic traditional and classical music at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London.
For this unique event, these three award-winning artists will perform alongside NYOS Camerata, the cross-genre, contemporary ensemble of the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland. Senior musicians from the classical and jazz orchestras are invited to collaborate with artists from diverse musical backgrounds, including classical, jazz, folk, and experimental, to create innovative and captivating musical landscapes.
