McCloud River Mountain Music is a small grassroots managed music concert series located in the shadow of Mt. Shasta, in the heart of the beautiful mountain town of McCloud.
Our mission is to bring world class musical talent to our community. We pride ourselves on featuring talented artists who may be known or perhaps not as well-known but are definitely worth discovering.
Our shows are intimate and unique, we believe that the experience of live music up close to the performer is one of the most powerful and transformative experiences a person can have. We invite you to join us for our home concert series, which take place at various locations in and near McCloud.
Dave Reynolds is a radio host at KDRT 95.7 fm in Davis, California and promotes music events and festivals; he is also a proud resident of McCloud.

Kyle Ledson Biography
Ever since he picked up a fiddle at the age of three years old, Kyle Ledson has drenched himself in music, taking influences of bluegrass & The Grateful Dead to create his own original music for a more modern “Jamgrass” scene. His first album release, “Crooked Mandolin,” saw him collaborating with childhood heroes like Hot Buttered Rum, the T Sisters, and the incredibly talented Molly Tuttle when he was just 14 years old.
Kyle’s sophomore album, “Left It All Behind,” was released in 2021 when he was 18 years old. The stellar record of mostly original tunes featured members Yonder Mountain String Band, ALO, & Hot Buttered Rum.
“This 18 year old man is an extraordinary talent in the world of bluegrass/Americana. His skills on mandolin and flatpicking guitar are rare. His songwriting abilities make him the total package. He's only 18, but he has the sort of skills many can't achieve over the course of a lifetime.”
