About this concert
Singer/songwriter Lydia Brownfield and her partner, Jeff Dalrymple have been playing and performing music around Columbus together for nearly 13 years. While no single genre can hold them down, Lydia and Jeff (Jeff D. and Me) take on 80's and 90's alternative covers by The Cure, Psychedelic Furs, and Radiohead, rock legends David Bowie, The Killers, and Fleetwood Mac, Americana favorites by The Civil Wars, and Iron & Wine, and old country hits by Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson. Their intertwining acoustic guitars and tight vocal harmonies set them apart from the crowd--and adding in a few of Lydia's original songs to the mix makes for a night of engaging entertainment.

Lydia Brownfield Music Biography
Hailing from the Midwest, but honing her skills down south, Lydia's influences range widely. Her songs cross many genres but find a comfortable spot among edgy folk/pop artists. She's recorded with Grammy winning producers and shared stages with Grammy winning artists, such as Indigo Girls and Louden Wainwright III. Her music has received high praises from Nashville Music News, and other industry pros. She's been featured on television and the airwaves in Atlanta, and Columbus (her home town) and currently has music in rotation on several radio stations and notable playlists. Her songs are honest and poetic, and her pure and powerful voice has been compared to Alison Krauss, Sinéad O'Connor and Sheryl Crow. Check out her newest band project, Albatross City!
