Morag Tong Biography
Entwining colossal drones and sledgehammer riffs with a rich, melodic ambience, UK heavy music scene staples Morag Tong wield a sound that is wholly their own. Drawing on a wealth of influence from psych, sludge, doom and prog, their highly anticipated second album Grieve, released in 2023 on Majestic Mountain Records, paints a series of vast and striking scenes that reflect lyrical threads of existentialist wonder, infatuation with the natural world, and an emphatic love for life.
Touring consistently since the release of 2018 debut album Last Knell of Om, Morag Tong have appeared as main support for Ufomammut, Monolord, Conan and Naxatras, and they continue to bring their brand of high-volume heaviness to life on stage in 2024.
