"A Swing Renaissance" back with all it's usual fun! Music, dancing, food trucks, and so much more! This months theme: A Rent Party. Rent parties were social gatherings in 1920s Harlem where musicians and dancers would gather to raise money to help cover tenants’ rent. These were formative moments in time where musicians collaborated and pushed the boundaries of their music further. We are recreating a Rent Party by partnering with Utah NeighborWorks for this event! 10% of ticket sales will go to building and sustaining neighborhoods in Salt Lake. 5:30pm Doors Open 5:45pm Stride Piano Opener – Feat.
