Jayden Hu Biography
Jayden Hu was born in Beijing in 2007. At the age of four, he started learning the violin with Dong Zhimin, the vice principal of second violins at the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra. In March 2016, he performed on stage with older generation artists such as Professor Sheng Zhongguo. From March to November 2017, he received guidance from Professor Chai Liang, the renowned violinist and director of the String Department of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. In 2018, he was admitted to the Juilliard Pre-College Division with excellent grades. During his study, he participated in Professor I-Hao Lee’s International Music Camp held in Jiangyin, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. Recommended by Professor I-Hao Lee, he started to follow Professor Ann Setzer from 2023. During his study, he plays in symphony orchestra and chamber orchestra every year, accumulating a lot of stage experience. On March 25, 2023, he held a Paganini solo concert at the Morse Hall of the Juilliard School. On July 9, 2023, he was specially invited to attend the Danni Master's Graduation Concert at Capital Normal University in Beijing. Since September 2023, many solo concerts have been held. His performances are highly appreciated by the public/peers.
