Das Charity Unleashed Festival geht nach einem gigantischen 2022er-Debut am Samstag, den 06.05.2023 in die nächste Runde!
Jeder anwesende Gast erhöht die Spendensumme und ermöglicht dem “Herzenswärme Duisburg e.V.” auch weiterhin Gutes zu tun! Seid dabei! Wir freuen uns schon auf Euch!
Das “CUF” ist ein rein ehrenamtlich/unentgeltlich organisiertes Hard Rock/Metal-Benefiz-Festival im Herzen von Duisburg. Das Festival wird vom “Jugendkultur DU-Nord e.V.” veranstaltet.
Wir haben es uns zum Ziel gesetzt, zwischenmenschliche Solidarität durch Musikverbundenheit zu stärken und vorallem für diejenigen Mitmenschen da zu sein, die oft am Rande unserer nicht immer perfekten Leistungsgesellschaft stehen.
Überschüssige Gewinne der 2023er-Veranstaltung werden aus diesem Grund an einen ganz besonderen regionalen, gemeinnützigen Verein, den “Herzenswärme Duisburg e.V.” gespendet, welcher die Lebenssituation von obdachlosen oder unmittelbar von Obdachlosigkeit bedrohten Menschen verbessern möchte. Im Zentrum der Arbeit steht die regelmäßige Essensausgabe in der Duisburger Innenstadt (am Schäferturm sowie Hauptbahnhof).

The Very End Biography
Founded in 2004 by René Bogdanski (guit., Ninnghizhidda), The Very End are children of the Ruhr area, a region with a traditionally large working-class population, which has been a soil for metal music ever since. Along with Björn Gooßes (voc., ex-Night In Gales), Marc Beste (bass, Onkel Tom), Jerome Reil, son of Kreator drummer Ventor and Marc Bräutigam (guit., Exumer) the band has eagerly been perfecting their sound over the years.
Like their neighbours Kreator or Sodom The Very End is forged from real steel and deem it their duty to not only keep the Ruhr area sound alive, but to bring it to the next level. After the 2nd demo was named „Demo of the month“ in the German Metal Hammer magazine, the band signed their first record deal and released ‘Vs. Life’ in 2008. Two years later they signed to Steamhammer/SPV and released the two following albums ‘Mercy & Misery’ and Turn Off the World". Both albums were produced by Waldemar Sorychta (Grip Inc. among others) and Dennis Koehne. 2011 also saw the release of The Very End’s first official video clip for the song ‘A Hole In The Sun’. ‘Turn Off the World’ reached the 5th rank in the German Metal Hammer soundcheck in December 2012. The magazine later declared it to one of the most important metal releases in 2012.
In 2016 the band was featured at the in the exhibition “Rock and Pop in the Ruhr Area”. It was held in one of Germany’s most prestiguous museums, the Ruhr Museum, which is located in the World Heritage Zeche Zollverein.
The band teamed up with German label Apostasy Records and released their 4th full length album “Zeitgeist” in 2021, which was a great success. Currently The Very End is writing new songs for their fifth album, while also playing some selected live shows.
