MiMiBiLLy

MiMiBiLLy is a Tokyo-based indie alt-pop duo formed by vocalist MiMi and producer BiLLy. Blending Japanese melodic sensibility with modern pop production, the duo creates colorful pop music driven by catchy melodies, groove, and nostalgic textures.
Inspired by the sound and atmosphere of the late ’80s and ’90s, MiMiBiLLy incorporates analog and vintage-digital textures reminiscent of cassette tapes, VHS, and old recordings into a contemporary sound. Sweet vocals and dreamy melodies meet a slightly faded, imperfect warmth—creating pop music that feels both familiar and new.
Together, MiMi and BiLLy create music that connects Japanese sensitivity with a global sound.

80年代後半〜90年代の音や空気感から影響を受け、カセットテープ、VHS、古い録音を思わせるアナログ／ヴィンテージ・デジタルの質感を、現代的なサウンドの中に取り入れている。甘いボーカルとドリーミーなメロディに、少し色褪せた不完全な温かさを重ねることで、懐かしくも新しいポップを表現している。
