Artist bio
Colleen Clark is a musician and audio engineer in Salisbury, MD.

Originally from Rehoboth Beach, DE, Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Music Theory from the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) and a Master of Arts in Audio Science from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD). She studied guitar with Don Savoie and drum kit with Billy “Stix” Nicks.

Colleen most recently played guitar with Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz. In the past, she has also performed with Mama’s Black Sheep, Red Letter Day, the Zen Monkeys, Wicked Jezabel, and SONIA disappear fear and worked as producer and recording engineer on a variety of projects, including two full-length albums of her own music.

Colleen also works as a freelance live sound engineer and serves as the front-of-house engineer at both the Virginia Women’s Music Festival and the National Women’s Music Festival in Middleton, WI. She has run sound for many artists on the Women’s Music circuit, including Holly Near, Cris Williamson, Tret Fure, Deidre McCalla, Dianne Davidson, Barbara Higbie & Teresa Trull, Bitch, Erin McKeown, Gaye Adegbalola & the Wild Rutz, and Sharon Katz & the Peace Train.

Colleen is an Associate Professor of Music Technology at Salisbury University, where she teaches courses in audio production, live sound engineering, acoustics, and ear training.
