Lit の経歴
Since the release of their last album, Lit has been actively touring, writing, and recording. They recently wrapped up a successful PledgeMusic campaign which gave fans early access to their forthcoming album, These Are The Days, as well as exclusive Lit memorabilia and experiences. The new record will officially drop this Spring on all platforms via OneRPM, with the leadoff single, “Good Problem To Have” out everywhere March 2. The video for “Good Problem To Have” was just completed with Director Justin Key, featuring cameo appearances by longtime pals Butch Walker and MTV staple, Johnny Bananas.
Lit’s new album was written, recorded and produced in Nashville, Tennessee. This evolution should come as no surprise, as the country genre and Nashville community have become deeply ingrained in the fabric of the band. As a Nashville SONY/ATV writer, Jeremy Popoff has been immersed in the country music scene for over a decade, landing cuts with artists including Jamey Johnson, Colt Ford, and others. Along with his brother, Lit frontman A.Jay Popoff, they've shared the stage with some of the biggest names in country like Dustin Lynch, Eli Young Band, Jamey Johnson, Chase Rice and have toured with A Thousand Horses. Collaborating regularly with prolific writers like Jeffrey Steele, Jonathan Singleton, and Corey Crowder (who produced the new record). Lit’s new material is road-tested and seamlessly integrates with the band’s hits, making for a dynamic nightly setlist. After 20 years, the band continues to deliver the same high-octane show that launched them to rock stardom in the late 90’s.
Lit will continue playing both Rock and Country tours and festivals in 2018 and plan to return to US Military bases overseas, where the band has been longtime visitors and supporters.
