This 17-year-old isn't your typical country musician. Initially gaining fame as a YouTube and TikTok star, this Maryland native has established himself as a musical artist in his own right. With a smooth, emotive voice and a knack for penning catchy tunes that effortlessly meld pop and country, his unique sound strikes a chord with fans of all ages.
Jovi grew up in a musically diverse family. His dad toured the world with Latin rock artists. His mom grew up out West with eclectic music at Red Rocks. These mixed influences inspire Jovi's unique style, which blends country, pop, blues, and folk.
Jovi started performing in backyard concerts at a young age. At eight, he joined his first rock band. At 12, he wrote the musical anthem for the Call to Unite, a 24-hour broadcast hosted by Oprah Winfrey. His song, performed in collaboration with an accomplished R&B singer, gained millions of views. He knew he was on the verge of something—using his musical talent to bring people together for good.
During the pandemic, he taught himself to play multiple instruments when he should have been doing virtual school. Today, Jovi enjoys spending time in the studio, performing live shows, and collaborating with other artists.
