About this concert
Khan return to the stage for their first run of Australian shows since their epic 21 date 'Creatures' AU/EU/UK tour in late 2023, which included performances at Desertfest Antwerp, Fuzz Festival in Stockholm and opening for Colour Haze in Hamburg. After spending the last 8 months working on their upcoming 4th album and armed with a new bass player, the Melbourne-based trio are eager to take their progressive brand of heavy psychedelic rock back on the road to some of their favourite venues around Australia.On Saturday the 26th of October, Khan take their national tour to the Baso in Canberra. They will be joined by Full Contact Safari Records label mates, post-rock/metal quartet Treebeard, celebrating the release of their second album and Lost Coast bringing their atmospheric alt/post-rock.

Treebeard Biography
Treebeard have been a popular attraction on the pub, festival & beer festival circuit for many years now, with regular appearances at Sheffield, Derby, Tamworth, Newark, Stockport, Lincoln, Stoke & Barnsley festivals, as well as Earls Court for the Great British Beer Festival, and the Cropredy fringe. This year the band have shows at Rockstock & Barrel, Holmfirth Folk Festival, Altrincham, Marlpool & Hope Valley Beer Festivals, Sheffield's Sharrow & Peace in the Park Festivals, Worrall, Festival8, Farmer Phil's, Solfest, Tramlines, Lancaster and Whitwell Festivals.
The band play lively Celtic folk-rock; traditional & original songs & tunes on a variety of acoustic instruments, always guaranteed to get an audience up & dancing.
