About this concert
Local rock outfit Program launches their sophomore album “It’s a Sign”, out via Antifade Records. To celebrate the release of “It’s a Sign”, Program will be performing live on the main stage at The Curtin Hotel, with support from friends Parsnip and Possible Humans. This triple “P” threat of a line up bundles three distinctive guitar rock flavours into one infectious evening - Possible Humans with their heart-felt indie-rock jangle, Parsnip with their rollicking garage-rock bop, and Program with their rocking power-pop sing-a-longs.Punters can expect a frenzy of fresh material along with their favourites from the headline band, as well as from Parsnip, having just released their second album “BEHOLD”, and Possible Humans, rumoured to have a second in the works. With Alex Macfarlane on the decks downstairs to see out the celebrations, it’s bound to be a big one.See you there!  Listen HERE.Join for updates HERE

Program Biography

It’s been almost five years since the world first heard Australian band Program on their incredible debut, “Show Me” and we’re proud to be here with the announcement of the follow up. The Melbourne four piece return with their sophomore LP “It’s a Sign” and showcase their love of rock music once again.

Whilst still staying dear to the sentiments of “Show Me”, platonic childhood sweethearts Rory Heane and Jonathan Ross-Brewin put together a fresh batch of catchy, hook-laden rock’n’roll tracks to sing along to supported by James Tyrrell on the tubs and new member Charlotte Stewart holding it down on bass. “It’s a Sign” is a 37 minute glimpse into the shared psyche of Rory and Jonathan as more evolved songwriters, straddling the line between earnest self-expression and entertainment.

The duo recorded with Shane Jarvie-Khon of Moreish Audio and help from Anti Fade's Billy Gardner. The album captures their journey from songwriting to fruition in a fresh new direction that spans alternative to country to post punk, whilst still maintaining the classic guitar pop sound that is unmistakably their own.

Program’s second album “It’s a Sign” will be out June 7th via Anti Fade Records.
