Royston Vasie launch their new album 'Through the Canopies' (release 15th May) 2024 at The Retreat Hotel Brunswick on Friday the 7th of June. Through The Canopies is laden with jangly guitars and whip-smart social commentary. The songs have got that Australiana familiarity of The Go-Betweens, whilst still being distinctly Royston Vasie. Sonically the new album has been likened to Australian royalty The Go Betweens, Songwriters, Cam Mitchell and Leigh Hardingham's songs are honest, transparent and ambiguous just where they need to be.
