About this concert
The power trio MOVING PICTURES is a Rush tribute at the top of their game. They played more than 50 gigs in 2023, including Lakeside Park in Canada for Neil Peart's family.
In 2024 they're touring British and Irish Academy Venues, Rush fan conventions in Brazil, Scotland and the Netherlands plus a European tour.
These guys and lady - female drummer Jamie Dunleavey is a favorite of Neil Peart's sisters - are in top form right now. You should grab the chance to see this!

I enjoyed it very much - a remarkable performance from all three in the band. That music isn’t easy to learn and play, I’m sure!
Their obvious pleasure and the fun they were having as they performed added to the show. The young girl who played the support slot was also very good. And the main man looking even Geddier than the genuine article was great!
I’ve mentioned it to some friends who now intend to catch them in Blackpool in January.
I’ve seen the ‘real’ Rush three times over the years and, probably because I could get so close to the band, this was very nearly as good - honest!

They have recordings on all 4 Songs for Neil tribute albums, including performances with Terry Brown, Hugh Syme and Jacob Moon.
On hearing their original arrangement of AFTERIMAGE, Alex Lifeson wrote "Very moving and beautifully done. Heartfelt thanks to the band for their kind tribute."
Featuring drummer Jamie Dunleavey - this young lady from St Andrews is scarily on point.
It takes a unique set of skills to sing AND play bass AND play keys like Geddy Lee - John Power is incredibly accurate.
Guitarist Steve Brown is a lifelong Rush fan and pro player with way too many guitars and wicked sense of humour - not unlike a certain Mr Lifeson.
"They had only been on stage for mere minutes and already my face was aching from the sustained grin.
These strangers who weren't actually Rush made me feel as though I was finally attending a legitimate Rush concert.
The accuracy with which they all play while still maintaining a lighthearted approach to their performance is, well, it's exactly as you'd expect from Rush themselves."
