Fishing For Compliments

Fishing4Compliments are a five piece indie/folk band from Yorkshire. The band formed organically around lead singer-songwriter’s Eileen’s emotive songs with all members sharing a passion for developing and creating their unique sound which has emerged from the eclectic mix of influences from which they draw including; The Beatles, XTC, Tom Petty, Mark Knopfler, The Cure, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Oasis, The Sundays and The Cranberries to name but a few. They have been gigging across the North of England and beyond since 2011 often adapting their formation to suit the event space and venue with Eileen’s songs and retro vibe voice always being pivotal.
