A Brazilian Music Jam evening featuring the ace Beloved George Band and guests! We're back at JuJu's Bar and Stage on Friday, May 24th! A vibrant celebrations of Brazilian rhythms in London, the Jambu Music Jam is a very unique and collaborative music experience, in which anyone from the audience is welcome to join - on their own instruments, small percussive instruments, singing along or just dancing and enjoying the party. Hosted and organized by the Beloved George band, the night will celebrate the groove and energy of Coco, Ijexa, Maracatu, Embolada, Forro, Baiao, Funk, Soul, Samba, Bossa Nova... and the list goes on! Beloved George is a Brazilian fusion band based in London. Its versatile percussion brings together the intense energy of Brazilian rhythms mixed with sounds from around the globe. Popular Brazilian genres such as samba, MPB, baião, and funk/soul set the tropical atmosphere, while the vocals, saxophone, and guitars add a rich flavor that prompts people to get up from their chairs, dance, and sing along. Beloved George is comprised of Danish and Brazilian musicians from various regions who build a bridge between Brazil and the UK with their playful and expressive performances. *Tickets at the door available depending on house capacity (one in, one out policy) at £18.
