Back with even more of an edge this year is BATTLE OF THE AGILE BANDS. Hosted at the home of the musically talented tech community - the Curtin Bandroom - and in collaboration with Shitbox Rally team ‘PHILORE IT KEVIN SCHAFER!!!!!’, raising all important funds for the Cancer Council. With a fantastic lineup of companies within the technology space competing to de-throne HELLvetica and take the crown, we’re in for one of the biggest nights in tech for 2024. All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Council through Shitbox Rally, with the added edition of our never-been-done-before halftime act; will you have the chance to get up on stage this year?.. Hellvetica Biography
HELLVETICA stands for explosive shows, extreme stage acting, fat live sound, strong interaction with the audience, spiced with a decent portion of Thrash Metal und garnished with a whiff of Hardcore and Punk.
HELLVETICA exists since 2004 on several stages through all of Switzerland and Europe. They are proud to have shared stage with international top acts such as Eluveitie (CH), Textures (NL), Six Feet Under (USA), Jungle Rot (USA), Debauchery (GER), Eisbrecher (GER), Batushka (PL), Insanity Alert (A), Samael (CH), Cataract (CH), Sodom (GER), Die Apokalyptischen Reiter (GER), Mystic Prophecy (GER) and Odd Crew (BGR).
In 2008 they released their first Demo EP „A New Hate Is Rising". This was followed up in 2011 with the release of the LP „Your Last Breath" and 2014 with the EP "Deadly Eyes".
Their newest album will be released in September 2017. „AGAINST THE ODDS“ is a 11 Song LP with energetic, driving and catchy songs. Be prepared for this beast!
