Tired of Fighting Biography
In 2019, Tired of Fighting ventured out into the world with their explosive brand of emotive punk and started beating the living daylights out of their instruments in front of audiences across the North East.
The trio from Newcastle transition from hurtling walls of noise to heartfelt whispers with ease. It is this dynamism
along with the intensity, passion, and sincerity of their live shows that have attracted their fans to date and led them
to securing such support slots as opening for emo powerhouses Mallory Knox!
The band's sound and energy appeals to fans of Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack and Dashboard Confessional.
They'll make you dance and cry all at the same time.
Their first single 'Tired of Failing', released in September 2019 was played on both BBC Tees and BBC Newcastle. This was followed up by their next single 'Night Dwellers' in May 2020, described as 'a powerful alt/punk-rock track signalling a very bright future for the band' (Spotlight UK). Their 3rd and most recent single, 'Chocolate' was released in April 2022 and is inspired by a summer of using antidepressant medication and the daily rollercoaster ride which resinates throughout every aspect of the track.
