About this concert
An explosively talented six-man crew from Victoria Falls, Mokoomba has been hailed as "The best young band in Zimbabwe" by The Guardian's Robin Denslow. Mokoomba combine traditional and modern instruments and a variety of international pop and pan-African styles – including soukous, funk and reggae.

Mokoomba Biography
Mokoomba is a 6 piece band that plays a unique blend of Tonga and Luvale traditional rhythms fused with dashes of funk, ska and soukous. Hailing from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, the band has toured over 50 countries around the world and has won a few awards as well as appearing on Later with Jools Holland.
