Goodthief Biography
As the Philadelphia-based alt-rock group gears up for its first show, Goodthief continues to shape its sound.
No genre does the band justice; Goodthief plays a soulful fusion of alternative, pop rock, blues and country. Heartfelt lyrics - reminiscent of the great country and folk storytellers - mixed with contemporary arrangements and catchy melodies create an infectious and honest musical effort with major crossover appeal.
Founded by the songwriter and lead vocalist Tom Wagner, Goodthief is now a ragtag gang of hat-wearing bearded men (hold the bass). Sam Sacchetti and Rory Hinkel drive the rhythm on drums and bass, Mike Miller carries the harmony on keys, Nate Hurdle brings the soul on lead guitar, and Tom’s voice projects all the emotion and passion you’ll ever need.
