Lara Di Lara

Dilara Sakpınar, a musician of both Swedish and Turkish descent, embarked on her musical journey from a young age. Following her graduation from Istanbul Bilgi University's Music Department, she initiated her music career alongside the band 123. During her collaboration with the group, she contributed to the recording of four albums and graced numerous stages in Turkey and abroad through live performances. With a foundation as a composer and songwriter, Dilara's accumulated body of work found expression in her debut album "Oraya Doğru," released in April 2014. This marked the inception of her solo career under the name Lara Di Lara. Subsequently, in 2017, she unveiled her second studio album "Hazineler İçindesin," a 16-track compilation released in collaboration with Sony Music. In May 2018, her single release of the reinterpreted "Su Ver Leylam" added to her diverse musical portfolio. Lara Di Lara's captivating performances reached significant milestones, including a European tour across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. Noteworthy events included a special concert with the Eskişehir Symphony Orchestra and a performance preceding Nick Cave in 2018. The following year, marked by numerous festivals and concerts, featured a collaboration with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. In 2020, Lara Di Lara concluded her symphonic trilogy with a concert alongside the Bursa Symphony Orchestra. May of the same year witnessed the release of seven singles and a collaborative EP titled 'Denge' with Kamufle. Notably, she independently launched her third album 'Sudaki Çığlık,' comprising 19 tracks. Her musical journey persists, and she continues to evolve with the release of her third studio album, which consist 13 songs, "Eskisi Gibi Değil" in October 2023.
