Raindance at fabric "Cut from the original cloth" Saturday 27th April 2024 - All-dayer Introducing the line-up for our first ever Raindance at the legendary institution that is fabric, London! We bring to you the true fabric of electronic dance music with a celebration of Old Skool, Rave, UK Hardcore, Jungle, Drum and Bass. The one and only Swan-E playing alongside DJ Ron and Kenny Ken in Room 2 (Jungle Dum and Bass)... plus a set with Richie Fingers and Trevor Fung in Room 3! (Old Skool, House, Acid) While DJ Faydz and Mad P play a Top Buzz set in Room 1 (Raindance main arena). This line-up sees a true Raindance mix from chart smashers to underground legends, the artists that have shaped our beloved culture world wide.... if you don't know you better get to know! And for the first time since '89? ... The Beatmasters Live! Carving up Room 1 will be The Beatmasters - lords of Hip-House playing live. Renowned for their UK chart smashes ’Burn It Up', 'Hey DJ/I Can't Dance (to That Music You're Playing) feat Betty Boo and of course 'Who's in the House' 'Rock Da House' and 'Ska Train'! Remix duties has seen them work with everyone from The Shamen to David Bowie, Depeche Mode to Moby and now the Beatmasters are beating up the hip house scene once again! Flux Biography
There are several bands called Flux.
1. Flux (Netherlands) (Irene Wiersma, Michiel Klein, Johan Kooi)

1. The Dutch band Flux is the band of singer/composer Irene Wiersma. As well keyboard player Michiel Klein (Adept, Bonne Aparte) and drummer Johan Kooi (The Cellartunes) do take part in this group. Irene Wiersma makes also solo music as Evy.

2. Another dutch band Flux was founded by Daniel Milano in 2004. It was a project which Daniel started with Remco Boers and Joan Duarte. Thomas Broedelet joined the group later.
Daniel: " There was no intention of writing that many songs, we just thought being in a band was a cool thing to tell chicks !"
Best know songs by Flux are: Spanish Little Chikka, 26 Maart, Lieve Mamma, Iedereen doet z'n broek los, Z-z-z Caressa & Mokkels, Geld & Alcohol which all appeared on their debut album " Mokkels, Geld & Alcohol in 2004. Daniel wrote most of the Flux songs but unfortunately most of them were never recorded. By the end of 2004 Flux broke up and Daniel continued working with Thomas Broedelet.
3. A Finnish band called Flux emerged in 2006 and released two singles on their own na-no Records before being licenced to Swedish label Electric Fantastic Sound in late 2007.

5. Flux is also an alias used by dutch techno producer Maarten van der Vleuten. The name appears for the first time on Outrage Recordings (a subsidiary of R&S Records, Belgium) in 1992. Later on he used this name for releases on Klang Elektronik, ESP, Mekanik and Signum Recordings. Also remixes for Trance Induction where made using this name. Most notable moments are True Feelings (1992) , Expanding Universe (1994) and the extremely limited album Laiad (2002). On one release the name is written as Phlux.
