Winners of the Australian Folk Music Awards Best Folk Album (2022) and Music Victoria Best Folk Act (2021), their music has been nominated twice for the prestigious Australian Music Prize. Melbourne sister duo Charm of Finches deliver intricate folk-pop that is simultaneously graceful and darkly bewitching. Their seamless blood harmonies traverse melancholy and wonder in equal measure. Their first gig outside of their native Australia in April 2022 as part of Folk Weekend: Oxford was the start of a mammoth 4 month tour of Europe, rounding off back in the UK opening for a few gigs for the legendary Spooky Men's Chorale. January 2023 saw them back in the UK for a very brief tour culminating in a appearing at Celtic Connections, before moving on to the Folk Alliance in the USA.
