Leather'o Biography
Leather’o (think Raggle Taggle Gypsy’o) is a high energy Alternative Celtic / Gypsy band based in York. They play all-acoustic, traditional instruments in venues from small bars to full-on festivals and weddings.
We play 50+ gigs each year, usually touring further afield once or twice a year and taking the summer off.
The band has been together since 2012 and has developed extensive repertoire, including many original tunes. You can hear their recordings and see videos of the band playing at their website.
The band includes professional players from the touring Folk Rock scene with many years credits from
theatre pit to festival, string quartet to rock band.
