About this concert
[ELLES] est un spectacle acoustique intime initié par Sandra Nkaké et conçu comme un moment de partage sensible et puissant autour de chansons écrites et composées par des femmes qui ont accompagné son chemin de vie. Accompagnée de ses complices Paul Colomb au violoncelle et Jî Drû à la flûte traversière, Sandra Nkaké nous ouvre la porte de son monde intime et nous raconte son rapport à la musique et à sa voix.

SANDRA NKAKE Biography
Born in Cameroon, French singer/songwriter and actress Sandra Nkaké has been creating a singular universe, constantly reinventing herself since her debut. Her magnetic and intimate vocal style found an affinity with audiences very soon. Her powerful yet sensitive voice gives shape and depth to the delicate and intriguing soundscapes she creates. Carving out a fine reputation with fans of soul, indie rock and jazz alike Sandra Nkaké’s acclaim has been steadily growing over the past years leading her to perform a series of sold-out concerts in France and receiving a Victoire de La Musique in 2012. Her intense delivery gracefully meets a charisma that stirs your heart.
SCARS is her fourth album and a jewel with powerful, soulful and organic songs that make us travel, weightlessly, hanging to a majestic momentum. Her long-awaited comeback takes us to a world giving pride of place to the energy of rock and moving folk songs from the first notes.
