Troy Graham Biography
TROY GRAHAM is a musician and poet from the north country of the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) of Michigan, where the cold air and freshwater meet in Marquette to make a special kind of folk music. Influenced by some of the grandfathers of folk, and a decade of bluegrass shows, Graham shows his Irish roots and love of melody through songwriting and showmanship.
He speaks to a generation of working people and his compassion for a happier world can be easily understood from his music that is written for all ages to enjoy. In October of 2022, he received the Outstanding Performer of the Year award by his hometown city of Marquette, Michigan.
On the radar for 2023 is independently releasing a new folk album entitled, “Be the
Change” with songs entitled, “We Will All Be Loved” and “I Don’t Know Where.” He will share his craft this summer by touring around the Great Lakes region, (hence the stage name of Great Lakes Graham) as he sings Tales of the Tides.
