About this concert
Bakai makes groovy lo-fi house, using vintage analogue gear in the form of synthesizers and drum machines. Making music audiences can both dance and dream too, Bakai's sound has taken him from dark clubs to festival stages. Rich warm analogue sounds combine to make your feet move and your mind wander. This special performance is filmed in isolation at the Iconic Raptor Room in Cape Town, and features a couple of prestigious local guests.

Bakai Biography
Since their inception Bakai have continually evolved, permanently endeavouring to create music that is true to their vision. Using a combination of synths and samples Bakai plays a purely live set. These two musicians draw inspiration from an array of genres including House, Afro-house and lo-fi house with elements of psychedelia. Their music is energetic, authentic and soulful.
