KLEAR Biography
With crushing guitars, as well as incredibly hooky arrangments and a no-nonsense lyrical sensibility, klear once again explodes onto the scene with an ""all killer - no filler" collection of songs, and the next phase of what will prove to be a knockout career.
10 seconds to burn, the new disc from Niagara Falls, New York's klear is the second offering from the Western N.Y/L.A. based Good Charamel Records.
This new collection of 6 uniquely power packed songs from klear has sent them into a strong position. Growing from local rock heroes to sharing the "big stage" with their peers of modern music.
On this Rich Spalla (STEMM) klear produced disc, 10 seconds to burn finds klear going back to their melodic hard rock roots. From past heroes and artists who are willing to stretch out, klear refuses to march to the current trends.
Since the 2004 release of "Makin' Noise", klear has:
Had songs prominently featured in films and trailers including "Beautiful End" featured in the Sundance winner and Miramax film "Station Agent", "Comeback" featured on the FX series "The Shield" and "Mr. Cracker" featured on "As Real As It Gets" / Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Shared stages with Staind, Goo Goo Dolls, Government Mule, Saliva, The Tea Party, Kid Rock, Chuck Berry, Default, Trapt and Cold. Certainly no strangers to headlining, klear brings in crowds as a major act as well, and lured upwards of 15,000 music to Buffalo's Thursday in The Square Concert Series.
Topped commercial radio playlists where "All On Me" hit number one on competing stations simultaneously 103.3 WEDG (Citadel) and 92.9 WBUF (Infinity) - an unheard of accomplishment for an independent band.
Been asked to play at the most prestigious venues across the country including the Vipor Room, House of Blues (Mandalay Bay/ Las Vegas), Whisky A Go Go, CBGB's, Six Flags Darien Lake and The Key Club.
