USA based Synth-Pop duo, Data Recovery Project performing songs from their latest releases, including Step Into The Sun (available on Spotify). Data Recovery Project is a Washington, DC-based synth-pop duo consisting of CP Kush and Daniel Warren Hill. Data Recovery Project writes, records, and performs original nu~wave music inspired by Queen, Erasure, Dead or Alive, Pet Shop Boys, and Frankie Goes To Hollywood. DRP performs regularly as a live-tronica act combining their original songs with mixed-live video elements and guitars. They have had appeared in U.S. cities from Boston, MA, to Key West, FL, and as part of the Fort Reno Summer Concert Series in Washington, DC. Data Recovery Project released their first EP in 2018 with fan favorites Apoca-Lapse, Ice Princess, and We Are Comin’ For Ya. Currently slated to release a series of singles the last ½ of 2019 beginning with “Step Into The Sun” dropping June 5, 2019. The official music and lyric video will launch on YouTube on May 22, 2019. DRP performed for Capital Pride, Washington DC’s celebration of all things LGBTQ at DIVE located in NW, Washington, DC on Saturday June 8th. DRP will be meeting with London based music industry executives in mid-July of 2019 in the hopes of building relationships and securing future opportunities within the UK. DRP will be touring in the USA in Florida August 24-29, 2019. Data Recovery Project performs in NYC at The West End on Friday, September 6, 2019, and is the featured artist at the Songbyrd (Washington DC) Open Mic hosted by Alex Parez on Thursday September 19, 2019.
