About this concert
Recognized as one of America’s premier heritage music festivals, the award-winning Beale Street Music Festival enters its 43rd year in 2019. The kick-off event to the annual month-long Memphis in May Festival, the Beale Street Music Festival is held in picturesque Tom Lee Park, a river bluff park overlooking the Mississippi River in downtown, Memphis, TN, at the foot of historic Beale Street.
Long known for its diverse line-up of top music stars both old and new, the annual event features 60+ artists on four stages over its three-day run.
The 2019 Beale Street Music Festival will include performances from Dave Matthews Band, The Killers, Cardi B, Khalid, G-Eazy, OneRepublic, Charlie Wilson, Shinedown, Gary Clark Jr., India.Arie, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Lord Huron and MANY many more.
Come experience the legendary music capital where rock and roll and blues music were born, and learn why music lovers from all 50 states and over 20 foreign countries travel to Memphis each year to attend this legendary spring time music festival.
This event will take place rain or shine.

Australia’s Roots Rock artist Hamish Anderson has been generating global attention since 2013. In 2016 Hamish independently released his critically acclaimed debut album, Trouble, produced and mixed by Grammy-winner Jim Scott. “No Good,” “Breaking Down,” and “What You Do To Me” singles all received radio support - the latter reaching the #39 at Americana in 2019.
Also in 2019, The AGE/Sydney Morning Herald profiled him in advance of his Australian shows supporting Gary Clark Jr. Then, after touring the world, Hamish returned to Australia to open for George Thorogood & The Destroyers on his sold out tour. In 2020 Hamish’s sophomore album Out of My Head was awarded the Independent Music Award for Best Album - Blues category. Later that year, he was featured in Guitar Player Magazine (Aug 2020) which resulted in a cover mention as well.
Throughout 2021 and 2022, Hamish released three singles “Morning Light” and "Everything Starts Again" and "Tea & Sympathy” all from his forthcoming album. Notably, "Everything Starts Again" spent several months in Top 40 AAA Radio in the US - debuting at #26.
In 2022, he appeared at Blues on BroadBeach (AUS) for the second time and did eleven dates in support of George Thorogood & The Destroyers upon their return to Australia.
In 2023, Hamish returned to the USA to tour with George Thorogood & Gary Clark Jr starting in March and going through til end of September marking his FIRST shows in America since 2019.
