When she inherited her Uncle Heathcliff's 1963 Burns London Shortscale Jazz guitar (rumoured to have belonged to Billy Fury!) aged 16, all those influences came pouring back out in the form of her own original material and has been flowing ever since. Danni has released two critically acclaimed albums both of which were produced by bassist/producer Chris Donohue in Nashville TN and feature some of the city's finest musicians including the legendary Al Perkins (Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons, The Rolling Stones) Will Kimbrough (Jimmy Buffett, John Prine) and Steve Fishell (Willie Nelson, Linda Ronstadt). Caudle established himself as a songwriter and performer by the age of 15. Naturally his music matured with his age as he became more lyrically and melodically driven. His evolving sound incorporates all forms of American music, inspired heavily by his love of collecting vinyl. His latest album, Crushed Coins, is a dark and dreamy narrative about following the light at the end of the tunnel. I think the overall theme of the record is trying to find hope in a dark place.
