Raising Cain

Raising Cain was started in 2008 when a guitar playing C.B.S. student realized how much of a lazy dry-shite he was, and how much he loved music. Teaming up with Bobby Murray-Walsh and later his younger brother, Jake Murray-Walsh, in 2009, began to show potential for the three. After performing in the Set Theatre, October 2010, they then held auditions for a second guitarist, who in the end turned out to be Dave Murray (Not the dude from Iron Maiden.) Raising Cain have been played in many different places at many different events, such as on KCLR, the local radio show for Carlow and Kilkenny, Barn on the farm charity festival with artists such as David Kitt and Thomas Donohue, and the Kilkenny Parade on St. Patricks day. They are without a doubt a talented bunch of chaps. We're a four-piece, rock/metal band originally from Kilkenny.
