The Dan Schutt Band

Dan Schutt is a singer, song writer and guitarist as well as a booking agent from Richmond, Virginia. After playing hundreds of shows as the lead guitar player and singer of the Shack Band, he went on to start his own trio, “The Dan Schutt Band”. Since solidifying the core members of the group (John Haynes on drums and Chris Douthit on Bass), the band has gone on to play more than 75 shows since 2014, and 50 in the last year alone. The trio pulls from almost every genre, and is known for putting on one of the most quality and high energy shows Virginia has seen in a very long time. The band is quickly building a strong local following and the guys are planning and even stronger 2017. Their first EP was recorded last year at the Broadberry, and the band is vigorously working on new material for the next album.
