About this concert
Zijn songs, zijn prachtige teksten, maar vooral zijn uitmuntende live performance is een grote inspiratiebron voor de Haagse muzikant. In navolging van zijn uitverkochte clubtour, kan een akoestisch theatervervolg niet uitblijven. Een setting die The Boss zelf ook verkoos; in New York zocht hij bijna een seizoen lang de intimiteit van het theater op. Met het album "the Goast Of Tom Joad" als onuitputtelijk bron van inspiratie zal Tim Akkerman een onvergetelijke avond vullen met een grootste ode aan The Boss.

Tim Akkerman & The Ivy League
20 Years in the business
20 years ago, Tim Akkerman was on the eve of his musical career. A career with highs and lows, hits, authentic choices, duets, special outings, a multitude of songs and an even larger number of live shows! Tim is now a well-known musician and composer in the Dutch music scene, and cannot be ignored.
The Ivy League
Since the album 'The Journey' (2014), Tim has been working with his regular band The Ivy League, and touring various countries as a close-knit group. Around the time of the third album 'Lions Don't Cry' (2019), the band was put to the forefront and the band name officially changed to Tim Akkerman & The Ivy League.
