SafeKept

SafeKept is a fully independent, touring pop-rock band that calls Columbus, OH (and a few other parts of the beautiful Buckeye State) home. Since early 2014, the band has logged over 200 performances spanning a dozen states, including several festivals, conferences, youth retreats, and rock shows. The band's debut EP "Remarkable" released in early 2015 to favorable reviews, and has moved over 1,000 units through shows and online traction. "Remarkable" also spawned 3 singles to national/international Christian rock radio. In January 2018, the band released part one of their new, two-part album "Modern Mortals", featuring a pair of singles; pop-rock anthem "Regardless Of Melody", and the hard alt-rock track "Comfortable", featuring guest vocals by Josh Bramlett, frontman of national touring Christian hard rock band The Protest.

SafeKept derives it's name from Proverbs 29:25, which says that "fear of man will prove to be a snare, but the love of the Lord God will keep you safe". It's this love, and the promises that come with rooting it deep in your soul, that drive SafeKept to reach people wherever they are with life changing messages. Through their high-energy and engaging live shows, thought provoking lyrics, and personal stories from the heart, SafeKept has continues to carve out an authentic and supportive following in each town they perform in. Whether it's through the leading of worship on a Sunday morning for a congregation of multiple generations, or rocking a conference full of youth, SafeKept has something for everyone, and is ready and willing to share their music to all who will listen.

Prior to their involvement with SK, the band's members were all involved with bands or artists that had an impact all over North America and other parts of the globe. Jeremiah, the band's singer/songwriter, was previously the vocalist and co-songwriter for The Great Transparency, a former national touring band that was active from 2006-2013. During that time, Wagner shared the stage with notable artists such as Twenty One Pilots, The Civil Wars, The Ataris, Thousand Foot Krutch, Mark Schultz, Kutless, Remedy Drive, Fireflight, Jars Of Clay, Sanctus Real, Spoken, Stellar Kart, and more. Additionally during his tenure in TGT, Wagner was fortunate enough to co-write and serve as lead vocalist for a pair of singles that each spent multiple weeks on the Billboard Christian Rock Top 30 chart in 2011 ("Rebuild Your Love, spending 4 weeks at number 1, and "Chaos Parade", co-written by Grammy nominee & Dove award winning songwriter/producer Barry Blair of Audio Adrenaline, which peaked at number 11). In addition during his TGT run, Wagner performed at festivals such as Cornerstone, Ichthus, SoulFest, Lifest, The Fest, Awestruck, and many others.

SafeKept has shared stages and performed at events featuring the likes of nationally recognized artists such as Plumb, Anthem Lights, Crowder, Royal Tailor, Family Force 5, KJ-52, Manic Drive, Five Iron Frenzy, House Of Heroes, Children 18:3, Project 86, Hawk Nelson, Seventh Day Slumber, Hidden Hospitals, Remedy Drive, and more.
