Stewart Ray Biography
From humble beginnings to life on the road, Stewart Ray has been living the life of a musician. Stewart started playing the bar circuit in the college town of Manhattan, KS at the age of 14. Soaking up what he could from every college band and touring acts passing through. Honing his own sound of Country Music, which eventually landed him in Nashville,TN.
Wanting to be closer to the roots of his sound, he recently raised the flag of the Lone Star state and now calls the Austin area home. Stewart is a traditionalist when it comes to country music but brings a soulfulness to his writing leaning on the influences of Randy Rogers, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, and Keith Whitley. Stewart has a brand-new record out called “Setlists & Sunsets” that shows his own branded country sound.
