The Free Folk Biography
The Free Folk is composed of two childhood friends, Kevin Spath and Randy Rowe. Hailing from Rochester, NY, the two experimented with a range of genres until settling on a stripped down folk sound that captures a wide audience. Their sound draws from elements of Led Zeppelin, Sigur Rós, Of Monsters and Men, and many others. Playing in orchestra together from a young age marked the beginning of a continuous musical journey together.
