Orchestra Classica Italiana, Conductor Fabrizio Da Ros Director Carlo Torriani Customs Sartoria Bianchi Gaudenzio – Stefano Faggioli Signor Bruschino padre – Carlo Torriani Sofia – Natalia Pavlova Fortville – Angelo Goffredi And other L’opera appartiene al gruppo di cinque farse che Rossini scrisse per il Teatro San Moisè di Venezia (le altre, oltre alle due citate sopra sono La cambiale di matrimonio e L’occasione fa il ladro). Il signor Bruschino andò in scena il 27 gennaio 1813 facendo fiasco, e venne subito sostituita dal Ser Marcantonio di Stefano Pavesi. L’opera venne rappresentata nel XIX secolo solo una volta in Italia, il 2 giugno 1844 nel Teatro della Canobbiana di Milano ed il 28 dicembre 1857 al Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens di Parigi come Monsieur Brusquino, diretta da Jacques Offenbach, a cui seguirono sporadici allestimenti nel XX secolo. Ultima delle cinque farse ad atto unico di Rossini – componimenti considerati per molto tempo ‘minori’ e soltanto di recente rivalutati come piccole perle compositive – Il signor Bruschino è una classica commedia degli equivoci, con scambi di persona, beghe familiari, fanciulle contese e inevitabile happy ending

Natalia Pavlova Biography
Наталия Павлова — оперная певица и актриса, обладающая сильным сопрано, удивительной музыкальностью и артистизмом.
Moscow and Rome-based soprano Natalia Pavlova (who is a descendant of Russian national poet Alexander Pushkin) has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Moscow Chaikovsky State Conservatory, Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rome), and many others throughout the world.
Active in performing music from antiquity to today, she was a soloist for 6 years in the Moscow theater School of Dramatic Art, directed by Anatoly Vasiliev. Natalia has sung world premiere performances and recordings of works by composers Giovanni Sollima, Venus Rey and Iraida Yusupova, composed specially for her voice, as well as pieces by Vladimir Martynov. She serves on Artistic Council of The First Cultural International Festival, Russian-Rome, Palazzo Poli in Rome, and was recently awarded the Silver Lion at the Narnia International Festival, as well as the International "Clean Sound" Award.
She has recorded 3 CD with contemporary music of Rey Jr and Yusupova in Da Vinci Classics and in Art Classics
