Described by the San Francisco Bay Guardian as “Hard charging Americana” the dually fronted outfits second to none songwriting draws from the inkwells of both Jeremy D’Antonio and Darren Nelson, giving the band a level of diversity rarely matched in today’s music scene. Add the wizardry of Dave Zirbel’s charging pedal steel and lead guitar lines that twist and turn seamlessly through the bordering on chaotic rhythms provided by drummer Dan Luehring who’s only tether to earth may be the pounding but melodic bass lines. The band’s 2 1/2 year residency at Terrapin Crossroads has afforded them the perfect venue to hone in their ever-present chemistry and deep sense of camaraderie. The results are undeniable and infectious.
