Distant Shores

Distant Shores is the embodiment of modern heaviness in deathcore, with a visceral and innovative approach inspired by djent. Formed in late 2021 by guitarist Raul Guidini, the band carries in its DNA influences from giants like Chelsea Grin, Project46, After the Burial, Bleed From Within, Crystal Lake, Darko US, and Signs of the Swarm.

With lyrics that delve into internal struggles and emotional conflicts with raw intensity, Distant Shores’ sound transcends labels—blending the aggression of contemporary deathcore with the complexity of djent, while boldly flirting with metalcore, hardcore, and post-hardcore.

Today, Raul Guidini, Michael Malphas, João Assis and Thomas Lírio bring to life a heavy, authentic, and impactful sound that cements Distant Shores as a name to be heard.
