Exposed to and instilled with a passion for music from an early age, taking special influence from her parents record collection, Garance raised in Geneva during a time where many squats still remained throughout the city. This unique setting created a number of possibilities for her to discover new music and musical movements, as well as experiencing stongly the nightlife. The radio show “Pump It Up Live”, broadcasted on Swiss station Couleur 3, also changed her life with the discovering of lots of Garage, house, acid house, deep house and techno sounds.
She quickly started to spend time in the vinyles shops, and decided to learn DJing. This feverish consumption of music, this dedication to this art, mixed with her practice of flute and bagpipe, led her naturally starting to compose her own sounds and beats. The past few years have seen Garance break into the international, circuit with acclaimed gigs in Berlin, São Paulo, Zurich or Geneva and release some EPs and remixes on great labels such as Soulfooled, Tulipa recordings or Salomo. 2019 will see her release further new material.
