It was worth the 550 mile round trip to see Gary Stringer... if you are expecting to see the persona that fronts Reef, you won't.. Gary as a solo artist is totally different, the music is mellow and moving although there will be the odd acoustic Reef song... most are songs from his own repertoire and from his Stringer Bessant and Them Is Me days... perfect and chilled night out... beautiful voice with a beautiful soul.. totally cultivating

The man has an epic voice as well as coming across as just a decent fellow. Well worth the money. It was our first time at the venue and we liked it. Good beer, good vibe and pleasant surroundings. The sound was immaculate. Will definitely go back.
