Jemma Johnson

Emerging UK singer Jemma Johnson grew up around addiction, she says “Music has always been my escape from the chaos and the best way to express intense emotions.”

Jemma, a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, has been developing her unique take on songwriting while gigging with an extensive list of artists including: Charlie Simpson, Beth McCarthy, James Walsh, The Dunwells, Sunny Sweeney, Kezia Gill, Girlband!, Sofy, Finn Forster, Andrew Cushin, Tiffany and The Deep Blue.

Jemma has played at festivals including Tramlines, Y-Not, The Rising, Live At The Hall (BBC Introducing Stage) as well as her first gig in France at MiCannes Festival.
Jemma’s previous releases have landed Spotify curated playlists as well as Radio 1, BBC Introducing and Radio X plays.

With a growing fanbase and a string of releases under her belt, Jemma is proving that her incredible songwriting and artistic vision demands attention.
