Was a great show, lot's of energy, rocking tunes and general fun had by all. Highly recommend seeing them live. I've been listening to them for a long time and they hold a special spot in my music appreciation. Fantastic to be able to see them live, if you get the chance go see them too.

Truly amazing and awesome. Can’t wait to see them in Ireland or out of the country of North America. Truly blessed with a life experience.🙏🏼❤️😇
Seattle, WA@El Corazon
They put on an awesome show in a small venue. The mosh pit got a little out of hand but the band was on fire.

How was it?
Loud. Fast. Powerful. Angry. In your face. Total commitment. And that was just Steve Grantleys' drumming!!!

Glasgow, United Kingdom@Barrowland Ballroom
Brilliant gig as expected in a legendary venue. Topped and tailed with Suspect Device and Alternative Ulster. A room full of mainly oldies reliving our youth !
Glasgow, United Kingdom@Barrowland Ballroom
Brilliant as usual. Played some tunes that we hadn’t heard in a long, long time. Barrowlands is one of the best gigs you’ll ever go to. I should know, been going for 25 years. Hanx.

Jake Burns and SLF played an amazing set at the O2 Academy. After being warmed up by TV Smith (The Adverts) and the Professionals (Paul Cook, Ex Sex Pistols) SLF opened their set with Suspect Device which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The rest of the set was a mixture of everything from Inflammable Material to new tracks. SLFs humanity shone through with Jake talking to the audience about International Womens Day - to which was dedicated Safe as Houses, depression in men which he dedicated My Dark Places and finally the tragic war in Ukraine, which they dedicated Barbed Wire Love. The set closed with Gotta Getaway and was followed by an encore of Tin Soldiers and Alternative Ulster, which left the audience in raptures. Given that they have been singing and songwriting for 45 years, SLF feel as relevant today as they did back in 1977. Their passion, their music as importantly their humanity shine on brighter than ever in a music scene populated by dross and nihilism. They still have something to say and we are still listening.

30 years ago, as a wee lad, this band changed my life (for better or worse). Still believe as far as pure musicianship and craft, they are the most consistently talented bands of their "genre", and last night proved it. Playing the album end to end (interspersed with newer songs), not one song was less than very good, most were great. No fat. (Excepting on the septuginarians who, btw, sounded just as phenomenal as they did 40 yrs ago from prior concert video comps).

Frontman had worthwhile stories and statements in between songs I appreciated - talking about songs written about anti-racism and brief episodes in the band's long life.
It was evident, still, that these guys are playing to a crowd from another era or curious about punk stalwarts from another era.
Was worth seeing what these guys were made of after 40 years. It's admirable, though certainly time to pass on the punk torch.

A great night with some old friends seeing a band - SLF - that set me on my musical path way back in 1979.
The old and much loved Friars venue is sadly gone now. My first of many visits was for The Clash in 1980 but saw SLF there for the ‘Hanx’ gig and again a year or so later. They are the undisputed Kings of Friars so couldn’t miss this.
A different venue, audience hair and waistline proportions significantly reversed since the early 80s but SLF recreated that special Friars vibe. Suspect Device, Alternative Ulster, Gotta Gettaway - they don’t change. Great songs are great songs so while venues are lost and hairstyle choices dwindle the Songs Last Forever. To Jake and SLF....Hanx!

Another fantastic show from SLF
They never fail to make the evening amazing, I first saw them in 1982 and this was my daughters 6th time seeing them.
A band not to be missed.
Norwich, United Kingdom@The Waterfront
Stiff Little Fingers were amazing from start to finnish, they haven't lost their touch even after 40 yrs, Jake Burns still has the passion and fire to deliver the goods, come back soon SLF.
Auckland, New Zealand@The Powerstation
Had a great time ! They played really well and stuck up for a girl when a bad thing happened. Hope it doesn't scare them away from Portland they are awesome to see live
