Singer/songwriter Mabel Matiz is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Turkish pop, blending Anatolian folk traditions with electronic experimentation and poetic lyricism. After releasing his self-titled debut album in 2011, he cultivated a growing audience while introducing a fresh approach to Turkish pop. In 2013’s Yaşım Çocuk (album) and 2015’s Gök Nerede (album), Matiz gained widespread acclaim. His 2018 album “Maya” marked a major breakthrough, producing some of the era’s biggest digital hits, including “Öyle Kolaysa”, “Sarmaşık”, “Ya Bu İşler Ne” and “A Canım”. In 2019, he founded his independent label "Pose Records" and in 2023 returned with his fifth album "Fatih", featuring fan-favourites like “Numaracı” alongside standout hits such as “Düldül,” “Müphem,” and “Karakol.” His collaborative tracks “Lan” and “Antidepresan” achieved cross-generational success on digital platforms, including the Billboard "100” and "Top 10” charts.
