Curtain is a French coldwave band that released 2 LPs and 1 EP in the 2000s. Influenced by The Cure , The Chameleons or Joy Division , they are compared to post punk and gothic bands like Interpol, Little Nemo , Asylum Party or more recently Soft Kill or ACTORS.
After a 15 year break, Curtain went back in 2021 for the 20th birthday of No Flowers by Request reissued in a Deluxe version by MusikÖeye label.
The band's return is confirmed in 2022/23 with several gigs with notably Christian Death , Selofan, Corpus Delicti, Martin Dupont or Little Nemo. In March 2024, a new album Between us is released with Manic Depression rec.
Then the band started recording and mixing with Franck Amendola (Corpus Delicti) in his Fatsstudio
New singles - Unbelievable (Nov 2024), Mother (May 2025) and Fire (Jan 2026) - will be followed on 6 May 2026, by the new album Spiral
