Based out of Akron, Ohio, Decepticon Theory is an electronic beatdown band, combining crushing guitar riffs and brutal vocals with bright electronic melodies. Formed in 2012 as a two-piece, guitarist Mikey B and vocalist Joey K released the EP “Has Science Gone Too Far?” in mid 2013, spending the Summer playing shows in support of the release. By early 2014, the band had picked up Joel Rositer on drums, rounding out one of the more unique bands in the northern Ohio area. Nu-metal from Akron, Ohio
