In May 2014, singer/guitarist and military veteran Mike McCann walked away from a six figure career and corporate lifestyle to become an independent rock artist. Initially forming Raven Tree as a solo project, it has since become a rock and roll powerhouse, featuring Phoenix Johnson bass, and Karras Johnson, drums.

Raven Tree released their debut album in April 2015, their second album (Devil’s Red Mistress) followed in Oct 2017. Devil's Red Mistress' title track and video were released in August 2017, followed by their remake of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” in September 2017. RT’s Veteran's awareness video "Redemption" was debuted via AXS.com in January 2018, and in June 2018 the band was signed to Manta Ray Records.

Raven Tree has been compared to Greta Van Fleet and Stone Temple Pilots with the classic influences of Van Halen and Led Zeppelin. From The National Sylvan Theatre in Washington, D.C. to the prestigious Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia, Raven Tree has become one of the must-see bands in the Mid-Atlantic music scene!

Raven Tree has performed on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial as well as the historic Trocadero Theatre, and have opened for national acts RhinoBucket, Kingdom Come, SuperBob, Puddle of Mud, Alien Ant Farm, and Sevendust.
