Erki Pärnoja について
Erki Pärnoja is an Estonian composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Well known for his work as the guitarist in the Estonian art-pop group “Ewert and The Two Dragons” he revealed a diverse and more alternative side of himself as a frontman and songwriter composing cinematic instrumental music while continuing to push the boundaries.
The first two solo albums "Himmelbjerget" (2015) and "Efterglow" (2017) highlighted Pärnoja's impressive guitar approach and cinematic sound language. In 2018, Erki Pärnoja published the widely acclaimed masterpiece “Saja Lugu”, a cross-genre work that portraits the soul and nature of Estonian people through photography and music, which gave way to more orchestral sound. In addition to the previous three instrumental records, his album "Leva", released in February 2020, also includes vocals as an important and new aspect.
In the spring of 2021, Pärnoja's first piece written for a choir, called “Anima Mea” (“My Soul” in Latin) is released, which can be considered a very natural continuation of his creative work. "Anima Mea" takes a look at the story of a life full of endings, beginnings and the world of limitless possibilities between them.
